Q : Do you ever formulate an idea and then go photograph it ?
A: No. I just follow my nose and realize I’m doing something and then maybe give it a name. I’ve never had to think about what to photograph. The secret of it is to deal with what’s in front of the camera. When I’m out shooting, i decide what’s to be in the frame purely in terms of what i want to include in the picture, not in terms of what makes a good picture. That’s a very important distinction. You should let what’s out there set the terms. Then the picture takes care of itself and may have a chance to be new in terms of how pictures can look

kalau photo jurnalis punya rumus 4W 1H Who-When-What-Where-How (CMIIW),
kita punya 4 Sehat 5 sempurna : jalan kaki-senyum pada org-sinar matahari-air putih. 5 sempurna tercapai ketika kita menghasilkan foto bagus. kalaulah tak ada foto bagus hari itu, toh kita sudah melakukan 4 sehat.
